Junior CDMMEA Festival Rehearsal Information

It seems part of the Junior Festival Rehearsal Information was cut off when I pasted Nick's letter into the last email. Thanks to all who dropped me a note asking for the additional info. I have posted the full link below.

Two things to remember...
1. The HOST SITE  (The Bromfield School), will offer a pizza meal deal (2 slices, bag of chips & drink) will be available for $7. Additional snacks and beverages will be available on site. Cash only please.

2. When you purchase your tickets please have them divided by school and by concert (jazz/Chorus vs Orchestra/Band), and the total cash/checks put together.  It will make the process smoother.

Chorus -
Dress Rehearsal & Concert Day
Information


Schools with Chorus students participating in this years Festival!.
 
Diane Plouffe, the Franklin Director & Concert host (extraordinaire!), wanted to share the following Choral Dress rehearsal information.
 
The chorus will be rehearsing at the Horace Mann Middle School, which is next door to FHS. 
 
The buses should drop the Chorus students off there first and then proceed to FHS to drop off the Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra students. 
 
The Chorus will have snacks available for purchase at HMMS during their breaks, but they will be walking over to FHS for lunch. 
 
I would recommend that when they come over to FHS for lunch at 12:00PM, they bring their concert clothes and plan to not return to HMMS. 
 
They will leave their belongings in the FHS Media Center during the dress rehearsal and concert.

2023 CDMMEA Junior CONCERT
     Sat. April. 29 @ Franklin HS
     ** 2:00 pm – Jr Festival Jazz Band and Chorus
     ** 4:00 pm – Jr Festival Orchestra and Concert Band    

Tickets:

     - $15 each

    -  Cash/PO or check (made out to CDMMEA)

    -  Tickets will be on sale during the April 3rd &
       April 26th rehearsals.

     - Each student has 3 tickets held in reserve,
       by school, until the Wed. April 26th, 5:00 pm.

     - After 5 pm on Wed. April 26th remaining
       tickets will be available first come-first serve.

     - Educators with a valid AFofM membership
       may ask for a complimentary ticket for the
       concerts.

     - Please note:
Directors who have a family with students involved in both the 2 and 4 pm concert should contact Steve (supmug@comcast.net), ahead of time for special arrangements.

JUNIOR HIGH FESTIVAL ACCEPTANCE INFORMATION
Upon receiving confirmation of CDMMEA Junior HS festival acceptance, please download, fill out and send the Junior HS Festival Participation Form (found in the handbook) and payment to:

Fees
$ ($18) - Registration Fee (per student)
$ ($50) - Late Fee (per school)


All Junior Festival Participation Forms are due by the 2nd Friday in March. 
On the back of the form, please list the accepted students who will NOT be participating in the CDMMEA Festival this year.
JUNIOR HIGH AUDITIONS INFORMATION

All Junior Festival Registrations will be done on-line.
Upon completion of your on-line form, print a copy, have your principal sign it at the bottom and mail the form with your payment to;

Fees
$10.00 - Audition Fee (per student for each audition*)
$50.00 - Late Fee (per registered school)

All Junior Registration Forms are due
by the third Wednesday in December,


* Students who double audition pay $10 for each
audition - for a total of $20.
