2024-2025 CDMMEA Scholarship
Each year CDMMEA awards four $500.00 scholarships in recognition of an outstanding music educator in Central Massachusetts, Mr. Dennis Wrenn, to students who will be enrolled as a Freshman for the Fall Semester (2025) in an accredited College/University program as a music major.

Eligibility
- Applicant will graduate from their High School, having participated as a member of the 2025 Central District Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, or Chorus and have also been RECOMMENDED for the 2025 All-State Concert Festival in their senior year (acceptance into the All-State Concert Festival is not required).
- Applicant must be accepted to a four year college or university as a major in one of the following fields of concentration: Musicology, Music Theory/Composition, Music Therapy, Music Education, or Music Performance.
- Applicant must be an active member and supporter of their High School music organization where applicable and in good standing within their school community, and must also have been in good standing with the Central District MMEA. (The conductor of the high school performing group or the high school principal must submit confirmation statement or letter of recommendation.)
